A local authority in Salford is seeking a Community Safety Partnership Strategic Lead to support key safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage services, develop strategies, and work closely with stakeholders to enhance community safety. A key partnership is the Salford Community Safety Partnership, a mature partnership made up of public and private agencies each with their part to play in delivering the Salford Community Safety Strategy. We work closely with the safeguarding partnerships in the city to deliver our cross-cutting themes.
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to support the Head of Community Safety, Resilience and Neighbourhood Management at Salford City Council to deliver our statutory duties and strategic priorities.

About you
You will have a knowledge and understanding of the legislation and strategic drivers relevant to the role, and experience of developing and delivering policies and projects to deliver these.
You will have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and be highly credible and influential with elected members and other public and private partners and stakeholders.
You will demonstrate the ability to build productive and effective partnerships with key stakeholders across public, private, voluntary sector and community organisations to deliver community safety objectives.
