Job summary

Salford-Council in Salford is seeking an Adult Safeguarding Team - Community Assessment Officer (Full-Time) to screen safeguarding concerns, gather information from a range of sources, assess risk and determine the most appropriate support pathway for adults at risk.

You will work closely with social workers, health professionals and partner agencies to enable timely decisions and positive outcomes, using strengths-based, person-centred practice.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, assessment and organisational skills.
• Ability to gather and analyse information and make proportionate decisions.
• Experience of working within health, social care or safeguarding is desirable.
