Job description

Job Title: Community Response Officer (Fixed-term)

Due to ongoing team growth and internal progression, we are looking for two new Community Response Officers to join our team on a fixed-term basis until 31st March 2025.

Role Overview:

You will be part of a multi-skilled team delivering a high-quality 24-hour service, including concierge, CCTV, door entry, mobile patrols, visits to vulnerable tenants, and anti-social behaviour response.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring CCTV cameras and responding to incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour according to procedures.
  2. Managing the concierge system and responding to calls.
  3. Contacting emergency services in urgent situations.
  4. Reporting faults with CCTV/Concierge systems to maintenance contractors, Team Leaders, or Housing Managers.

Requirements:

  • Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licensed or willing to undergo training.
  • Understanding of crime, anti-social behaviour, and environmental issues.
  • Knowledge of CCTV and concierge systems.
  • Proficiency with IT systems.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.

The successful candidate must meet security screening requirements, including BS7858 standards, employment and residence checks, DBS, and a financial history check.
