Be a part of an energetic and vibrant team who are driven by the desire to improve the lives of people living with kidney disease. Our vision is the day when everyone lives free from kidney disease.
We’re looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic community relationships assistant to help us build strong relationships with supporters and communities across the UK. You’ll play an important part in creating a positive supporter experience, providing excellent day-to-day support and helping more people get involved in raising awareness and funds for kidney research.
You’ll be a key point of contact for supporters, responding to enquiries with warmth and care and helping them get the most from their fundraising. Working closely with colleagues across the Community and Events team, you’ll support fundraising activities, maintain accurate supporter records, prepare and send materials, and help coordinate meetings and communications. You’ll also contribute ideas to improve the supporter journey and make our ways of working more effective.
You’ll have strong communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to build positive relationships with a wide range of people. You’ll be comfortable managing several tasks, meeting deadlines and working accurately with data and administrative processes. You’ll be proactive, collaborative and keen to learn, with a genuine commitment to our vision. Experience in fundraising, supporter care, community engagement or a similar customer-facing environment would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
We operate a hybrid, flexible working style. The role is contracted to our Peterborough office, and flexibility is required to attend events and meetings.
If you are interested in the position, please complete the online application form and submit together with your CV.
