Job description

The Sherborne Integrated Community Rehab Team is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to join their multidisciplinary team at The Yeatman Hospital in Sherborne. We are a friendly, small team comprising Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, a Registered Nurse, Therapy Assistant Practitioners, Rehabilitation Assistants, and a Team Administrator. Our team provides rehabilitation services for adults over 18 within North Dorset.

We are committed to delivering high-quality care and rehabilitation through collaborative working with colleagues in Primary and Social Care sectors. Please note that applications requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time, rotational position involving work on both the rehab ward and in the community.
  • You should be flexible, confident working independently, and have experience in rehabilitation or caring roles.
  • Basic IT skills and NVQ level 2/3 are preferred.
  • You must be able to drive, as visiting patients in their homes and community settings is part of the role.
  • Responsibilities include working under supervision and autonomously within your competencies.
