We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity which has arisen for a Registered Nurse – (part one of professional register) to work within Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership as part of the District Nursing service providing Treatment Room Cover.
These nursing posts will require flexibility in shift patterns over 5 days.
To apply for this post, it is essential that you have some experience of treatment room nursing or nursing in a community setting. The post holder will provide person-centered care to patients who are able to attend the treatment room, in their homes or other homely settings, promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, as well as preventing/reducing hospital admissions. It is desirable that you have clinical skills in the areas of wound management, catheter care and palliative care including end of life care. The aim of the post is to focus on prevention, anticipation and supported self-management to enable everyone to live longer, healthier lives within their own homes. Training will also be provided during induction for the successful applicants.
It is essential that you are a good communicator and show that you work well within a team and also are able to function autonomously using your skills and initiative.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
