Job summary

Inclusion is seeking a Recovery Worker to provide psycho-social, recovery oriented interventions to people with substance misuse in community settings. You will deliver low to high intensity interventions and work to support recovery and positive outcomes.

You will collaborate with clinical prescribing services, undertake initial and ongoing assessments, and develop recovery plans with service users. DBS will be required and the post is subject to suitability checks.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience of working with people who use alcohol and drugs.
• Understanding of trauma informed care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psycho-social, recovery orientated and outcome-focused service within ORB with emphasis on high standards and good practice.
• Work in an integrated team delivering psycho-social and clinical interventions to service users with substance misuse issues, including alcohol.
• Use strengths-based approaches including mapping techniques and relevant paperwork for initial screening assessments.
• Carry out further assessments with node-link mapping techniques and recovery planning.
• Coordinate recovery for each client on caseload and provide structured interventions as per the recovery plan.
