Job summary

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council is seeking a Community Project Officer for a two-year FTC to help shape recovery in North Kensington. Based in the borough, you’ll work with residents and local organisations to deliver grassroots initiatives and support communities through grant programmes.

You’ll coordinate the Grenfell Projects Fund and Community Leadership Programme, gather data, prepare reports, and manage budgets while building trusted relationships across diverse groups

Qualifications

• Experience managing community, regeneration, public sector or voluntary sector programmes.
• Ability to gather and evaluate data to evidence impact.
• Strong written and oral communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver key programmes including Grenfell Projects Fund and Community Leadership Programme.
• Meet with local community groups, review progress and monitor delivery and budgets.
• Prepare reports, briefings and presentations for varied audiences; manage multi-programme plans.
