Job summary

Kensington and Chelsea Council seeks a Community Project Officer to support residents and local organisations in delivering recovery projects in North Kensington. You’ll coordinate programmes, engage with resident panels and partners, and help translate priorities into lasting local impact.

You’ll use Monday.com, Plinth and Microsoft 365 to monitor progress, produce reports, and ensure compliance, all while maintaining sensitive, community-focused engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing community, regeneration or public/ voluntary sector programmes.
• Proven ability to plan, monitor and report on funded projects and grants.
• Strong data handling and storytelling using dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver key programmes including Grenfell Projects Fund and Community Leadership Programme.
• Meet with local community groups, review progress and manage budgets and outputs.
• Prepare reports, briefings and presentations for diverse audiences; attend out-of-hours meetings.
• Ensure projects stay compliant, on track and well-documented.
