What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide psychosocial interventions within a structured 12-week framework.
  • Engage in duty work and collaborate with colleagues on discharge coordination to efficiently manage caseloads.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including clinicians, social workers, and support workers, to deliver patient-centred care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide support and education about their care and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.
  • Current NMC Registration.
  • Strong assessment and formulation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team structure.
