Job Description:

Archer Resourcing has an excellent opportunity for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join the dedicated team in Newcastle.

As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will deliver high-quality integrated health and social care for individuals facing mental health challenges. You will collaborate with individuals and their families or carers to provide personalized care and support, aiming to enhance their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing assessment, treatment, and care reviews to patients and their families/carers.
• Managing urgent clinical calls, including risk assessment and management.
• Supporting team members in decision-making processes.
• Maintaining high standards of care while respecting service users' individuality and dignity, and promoting independence.

Requirements:

• Registration with the NMC.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Good organizational skills.
• Enhanced DBS - on the update service (fast track possible).
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if not currently held.
• Good communication and written skills.
• Experience in taking responsibility.
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle (advantageous).
