Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Band 5 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join the East Renfrewshire Adult CMHT in Barrhead. The role is a permanent full-time position (36 hours) with a 9 am–5 pm Monday–Friday pattern, working within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

The successful candidate will provide specialist nursing care to adults with mental health needs, lead and supervise staff, and contribute to person-centred care planning within the NHS Scottish framework.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
• Experience in assessing and managing individuals with complex mental health needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide leadership, supervision and support to staff and students.
• Knowledge of person-centred care planning and evaluation.
• Ability to work effectively within a Multi-Disciplinary Team setting.

East Renfrewshire Adult CMHT is seeking a motivated Band 5 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join its friendly, supportive, and well-established Multi-Disciplinary Team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive specialist nursing care to adults with mental health needs, working as part of the wider Mental Health and Recovery Service within East Renfrewshire HSCP.

Location: Barrhead Health and Social Care Centre

Employment type: Permanent

Hours per week: 36

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm
