Community Psychiatric Nurse – Oxford NHS Location:Oxford
Contract:Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate:£27 Ltd / £21.71 PAYE (excluding holiday pay)

Service Care Solutionsis currently recruiting for aCommunity Psychiatric Nurseon behalf of an NHS Trust based inOxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified mental health professional to join a dedicated community mental health team supporting adults and older adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist mental health care to adults and older adults in the community
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred care plans
Deliver psychosocial interventions tailored to individual needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies
Monitor and manage risk, ensuring safe and effective care delivery
Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with NHS standardsEssential Requirements
Current professional registration as a:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC)
Occupational Therapist (HCPC)
Experience working in community mental health services for adults and older adults with severe or significant mental illness

Specialist knowledge of person-centred care and its practical application

Understanding of psychosocial interventions and their appropriate use

Awareness of the mental health needs of adults and how these impact care planning and delivery
