Job summary

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust in New Milton is seeking enthusiastic mental health nurses to join a small, friendly CMHT. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care and support recovery for service users.

The role offers flexi and remote working where possible, regular supervision, professional development, and opportunities to contribute to recovery-focused services in the New Forest area near the Hampshire and Dorset border.

Qualifications

• Registered mental health nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in community or CMHT settings preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced, innovative mental health nurses who are committed to the principles of recovery. We are a small, friendly team who believe in working together and supporting each other in managing complex cases. We are based in the scenic area of the New Forest and are situated on the Hampshire and Dorset boarder, so would welcome applications from those living outside of Hampshire or who are looking to relocate.

We believe in delivering specific episodes of care to empower people to work towards recovery.

Due to the current skill mix in the team we are only open to male applicants in order to ensure we maintain a sufficient skill mix for service delivery. We have a well established multi disciplinary team including, team manager, team leader, consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, Independent Nurse Prescribers, RMN's, support time recovery workers, carers officers and employment support.

We are happy to consider flexible working requests and remote working where possible. We are operational Monday to Friday.

We believe in supporting our staff to develop in the careers through training and you will receive regular clinical and management supervision. We also run monthly reflective practice, education slots and safeguarding supervision.
