A leading healthcare provider in London seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care and provide community-based treatment for individuals aged 18-65 with mental health needs. The role involves collaboration with various organizations to ensure responsive and flexible care. This position is ideal for nurses who have completed their preceptorship and are registered mentors. This role is suitable for Registered Nurses who have successfully completed preceptorship and have registered as an approved NMC mentor. The post holder will deliver, or advise on the delivery of, high quality safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of professional conduct.
The Post Holder will provide community-based assessment, treatment, and care for people, aged 18-65, who have a history of offending, and who have mental health needs. The post holder will aim to provide a flexible, responsive and pro-active programme of care and support for the service users and their carers.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining links across a wide variety of statutory and non-statutory organisations, such as Probation, MAPPA, social services, Jigsaw, Hostels and other voluntary and non-voluntary services, as well as being involved in specialist mental health assessments and the application of evidence based psychosocial interventions.
