Swale Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic Project Officer to join their Community & Partnerships Team. This full-time position involves working with various external agencies to address community issues and enhance partnerships. Excellent relationship-building and organizational skills are key to delivering community projects and managing the Member Grant Scheme. Are you looking for a new challenge or to gain experience working with a variety of external agencies or other teams? We are looking an enthusiastic individual to join our Community & Partnerships Team as a Project Officer.
This role will involve working with a variety of external agencies, including statutory organisations, the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, and a variety of internal departments.
The role manages the coordination of the Councils Safety Advisory Group, in addition to supporting the team’s effective response to social, health and community issues in Swale.
This is a full-time position working 34 hours per week, on a permanent contract.

About You
The successful candidate will need to have excellent relationship building skills and ideally experience of working with other agencies.
The successful postholder will need to have good organisational skills as in addition to a variety of community projects, you will also be responsible for delivery of the Member Grant Scheme and Community Lottery.
This post will also be delivering several community projects in collaboration with external agencies. Previous project management experience would be useful however, we are willing to consider candidates that are keen to learn and can demonstrate good organisational and time management skills.
Selection Process
Following the submission of your application form, it will be reviewed by the recruiting manager. Those that are successful in securing an interview can expect job specific interview assessment, followed by an interview.
