Job summary

CPFT in Cambridgeshire is recruiting a Podiatrist to join the CPFT Podiatry Service working in the community across Cambridgeshire. The successful applicant will work primarily in their locality podiatry team and support the service county-wide as needed.

We offer a development pathway with a preceptorship for newly qualified podiatrists and a structured competency framework to ensure onboarding; opportunities to specialise in MSK, nail surgery, diabetic and high-risk foot care across community

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Local anaesthetics certificate and ongoing CPD in relevant areas.
• Experience in NHS podiatry and wound management.
• Able to travel around Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to meet service needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate podiatric care for diverse patient groups.
• Work across core podiatry areas including high risk diabetes, vascular conditions and wound management.
• Provide care in settings such as hospital clinics, health centres, GP practices and residential homes.
• Support and develop staff through a clear career pathway and promotion opportunities.
