Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Podiatrist to join the CPFT Podiatry Service, working primarily in the community across Cambridgeshire. The role offers full or part-time options with potential for compressed hours, and may involve travel to key sites.

You will work within the podiatry team across diabetic and high-risk foot care, with opportunities to specialise in MSK or nail surgery, plus line-management and mentoring experience.

Qualifications

• Competent across core areas of Podiatry with teamwork and accountability.
• Opportunity for specialist practice in MSK or Nail Surgery as skills develop.
• Support career development and promotional opportunities within CPFT.
• Be able to travel around Cambridgeshire for service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate podiatric care for high-risk diabetes, neuropathy and vascular conditions.
• Deliver care in Hospital Clinics, Health Centre Community Clinics, GP Practice Clinics and community settings.
• Participate in Nail Surgery and MSK development as appropriate.
• Plan daily workloads for home visits and visits to elderly/disabled care settings.
• Provide foot health education to patients, relatives and carers and contribute to staff training.
