Job summary

CPFT’s Podiatry Service in Cambridgeshire seeks a Podiatrist to work across community settings, with flexibility for full or part-time hours and potential compressed hours. The role requires travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

You will assess, diagnose, plan and deliver podiatric care, supporting high-risk foot management and specialist areas as needed, in a collaborative team across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Excellent clinical skills with evidence-based practice.
• Knowledge of clinical governance and supervision.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate podiatric care for varied patients.
• Provide care across settings: hospital clinics, health centres, GP practices, and community homes.
• Share responsibilities for diabetic and high-risk foot management, MSK and nail surgery as appropriate.
• Plan personal workloads for home visits and visits to residential homes.
• Educate patients and carers on foot health and prevention.
• Contribute to departmental policies, guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain stock and equipment securely and manage supplies.
• Cover for colleagues when needed and ensure service continuity.
