Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Physiotherapist for the RRIC team based at Buckinghamshire. The role focuses on rapid response, intermediate care, and community physiotherapy to enable patients to stay at home and avoid unnecessary hospital admission.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, provide expert assessments, plan care programmes, and contribute to developing clinical pathways across services, with flexible working options and NHS benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Healthcare Professional with HCPC or RCN registration - Physiotherapist
• Degree/ Diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• Recent CPD and post-graduate training in relevant areas
• Experience of working in NHS community settings and with therapy teams

Responsibilities

• Triage, comprehensive specialist assessment of patients and carers
• Plan programmes of care to promote health gain and maximise independence
• Allocate workloads within the RRIC team to ensure smooth service delivery
• Collaborate with MDTs to ensure timely, evidence-based care
• Develop and follow clinical pathways across Intermediate care and Community Physiotherapy
