Job Title: Physiotherapist Band 6
Location: Devon
Duration: Ongoing contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time (part-time considered)
Start Date: April / May
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £24-£25 per hour (depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist and make a real difference in the lives of patients in the local community. In this role, the successful candidate will:

1. perform holistic and person-centred assessments in patients' homes or community settings
2. create and implement tailored rehabilitation and treatment plans
3. promote independence, mobility, and safety in the home environment
4. work closely with multidisciplinary teams including OTs, nurses, and social care professionals
5. support hospital discharge and admission avoidance through timely intervention
6. maintain accurate, up-to-date patient documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

1. current and valid HCPC registration
2. experience in community physiotherapy or working with elderly and frail populations
3. excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
4. the ability to work independently in the community (a car driver is typically essential)
5. a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible position is primarily Monday to Friday, full-time, but part-time applicants are welcome. The role is expected to begin in April or May with an ongoing contract and potential for extension depending on service needs.
