A regional healthcare provider in Weymouth is seeking an experienced Community Phlebotomist Supervisor. In this part-time role, you will lead a community phlebotomy team, manage caseloads, and ensure high-quality service for housebound patients. Candidates should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have access to a vehicle. Are you an experienced and compassionate Community Phlebotomist looking to thrive in a decision-making role? Our Weymouth and Portland Community Team, based at Weymouth Community Hospital, would love for you to join us as a Community Phlebotomist Supervisor!
As the Community Phlebotomist Supervisor, you will work within patients' homes covering the Weymouth and Portland locality. You will make clinical decisions while leading and managing a small, close-knit team. You will manage and prioritise your own caseload, have excellent communication skills, and access to a car with a valid driving license. You should possess great problem-solving skills and share a passion for delivering high-quality service. This role offers an opportunity to guide and teach the team, bringing your experience, knowledge, and skill set. The role is developing as the service expands.
The Community Phlebotomist post is a part-time role of 27 hours per week, Monday to Friday. These hours could be met over a four-day period, and we can be flexible with how these hours are arranged. In return, we offer opportunities to develop your clinical skills and experience in a supportive team environment, with regular supervision and appraisals.
