Zusammenfassung

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is recruiting a Phlebotomist to perform venepuncture across Trafford and Manchester, visiting patients at clinics and in their homes or care settings. You must hold a full UK driving licence with business use insurance and be willing to work across a 7-day rota.

Full training will be provided, and the role involves working under the Phlebotomy Supervisor and Manager, with DBS checks and adherence to NHS community health principles.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to travel across Trafford/Manchester footprint and have full UK driving license with business-use insurance.
• Phlebotomy training provided; prior experience not essential.
• Flexibility to work across 7 days including weekends and bank holidays.

Aufgaben

• Respond to phlebotomy requests for patients in the Primary Care Setting.
• Work as a team under the direction of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and Phlebotomy Manager.
• Provide service at clinics across Trafford & Manchester and visit housebound patients at home or in care facilities.
• Work with minimal supervision after completion of training.
• Contribute to health checks such as blood pressure, height and weight when required.
