Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Phlebotomist to join the Community Phlebotomy Service. The role involves clinic sessions and home visits across a wide area, with 6-hour shifts across five days.

You will support discharge planning and help patients stay independent while delivering high-quality care. Applicants must have previous phlebotomy experience, a full UK driving licence, and excellent IT skills.

Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• IT skills and computer literacy are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy services in clinics and during home visits.
• Cover a large geographical area including Hucknall, Arnold, Daybrook, Carlton, Calverton, Burton Joyce and nearby villages.
• Support discharge and help patients remain independent where possible.
• Complete electronic documentation accurately.
