Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Phlebotomist to join the Community Phlebotomy Service. You will perform phlebotomy in clinics and home visits across a broad geographic area, delivering high-quality evidence-based care with a focus on patient independence and privacy.

The role requires excellent communication, organisational skills and IT literacy, with a commitment to working as part of a busy team. DBS check and driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a variety of care settings.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• IT skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy services to patients in home and clinic settings.
• Work five days a week with six-hour shifts.
• Cover a large geographical area including Hucknall, Arnold, Daybrook, Carlton and surrounding villages.
• Escalate concerns to the appropriate clinician.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
