Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides community health services across Leicester and Leicestershire. A Phlebotomist is sought to cover maternity leave on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.

The role is 30 hours per week, Mon-Fri 08:00–14:00, with a flexible approach to hours and full training provided. You will collect venous samples, perform INR/NPT and work autonomously, driving to housebound patients.

Qualifications

• Good team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work on own initiative and prioritise work effectively.
• Must be a car driver and own a vehicle.
• Experience with SystmOne is advantageous; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process venous blood samples / basic observations for house-bound patients.
• Conduct INR / NPT within Trust policy and guidelines for house-bound patients.
• Work autonomously and be a car driver and owner.
