Job summary

You will support access to local activities, recognise signs of anxiety, and apply de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies. The role includes positive behaviour support, supervision and risk management, and fostering safe social interactions and online

Responsibilities

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and delivering person-centred support.
• Recognising signs of anxiety and distress and responding using distraction and de-escalation.
• Providing positive behaviour support and maintaining a calm, consistent approach.
• Promoting independence with supervision and risk management in the community.
• Supporting safe and positive social interactions.
• Understanding and promoting online safety.
