Job description

Job Summary

This role involves supervising service users on Court Orders undertaking unpaid work within the local community, often working alone with up to 5 service users, with support from the team based in the office. The ideal candidate would be able to lead daily work tasks assigned by the co-ordinator, including demonstrating, teaching, and overseeing activities such as creative arts, gardening, painting, litter picking, and workshop-based tasks, while working alongside service users. We are looking for a punctual, non-judgemental person who can display positive role modelling and motivate service users into daily work tasks. While trade-specific qualifications are not required, a keen interest and ability in gardening, painting, woodwork, etc., would be beneficial.

This post is contracted for 35 hours per week, from 9 am until 4 pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Do you have the availability to work these hours and days? Do you have a valid driving licence and the ability to drive a council van with service users inside?
