Job summary

NHS Grampian is recruiting a Band 5 Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to deliver community paediatrics services to children aged 0–18 in Banchory and Stonehaven. The role involves clinic and home visits, working with families to address a range of communication needs, including complex cases.

You will join a dynamic SLT team serving Aberdeenshire, with opportunities for professional development. Travel across the Aberdeenshire area is essential; a car driver is required.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Car driver with access to a car and willingness to travel around Aberdeenshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide community SLT services to children aged 0–18 in Banchory and surrounding areas (3 days) and Stonehaven and surrounding areas (2 days).
• Assess and treat a range of communication needs in clinic and home settings.
• Collaborate with Speech and Language Therapists and assistants across Deeside and South Aberdeenshire.
