Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a specialty doctor or equivalent to join the community paediatric team. You will conduct 2 community clinics per week, supported by consultants, sharing an office with a community speciality doctor and consultant paediatrician.

The role includes CPD support, professional development and ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires MRCPCH or equivalent, GMC registration and safeguarding competency.
• Experience supervising junior staff and CPD participation is essential.
• Understanding NHS structures and systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and management of children in community paediatric clinics.
• Coordinate care for neuro-disability and liaise with multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver clinics and provide admin support within a supportive consultant framework.
