A healthcare provider in Carlisle is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join their Children's Therapy Team. The role involves managing a caseload of children, delivering training, and collaborating with various agencies to support children's communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration. This position offers a permanent contract with competitive pay ranging from £38,682 to £46,580 per annum.
We are seeking a passionate, innovative and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children\'s Speech and Language Therapy Team in North Cumbria. The team provides a service to the East of the Cumberland district. The role supports the development and delivery of the targeted and universal levels of the speech and language therapy service in line with current commissioning requirements. The post involves collaborating with interagency partners to ensure children have appropriate language and communication opportunities to reach their outcomes, sharing expertise, and modelling best practice with colleagues, families and practitioners. It also includes auditing and reviewing outcomes for stakeholders and children accessing service levels and undertaking holistic assessments to understand the functional impact of speech, language or communication needs.
In line with service demand, assume responsibility and accountability for a caseload of children and/or young people with diverse presentations, prioritising and managing the caseload independently.
