Responsibilities
- Dietetics Assessment and Treatment: Provide dietetic assessment and treatment for babies, children and young people residing in Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering with support from the established team.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with dietitians and Multi-disciplinary Team teams to improve nutritional care for patients across Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering.
- Patient-Centered Care: Demonstrate sensitivity, non-judgment, and professionalism in dealing with patients. Provide advice in a considerate manner.
- Professional Development: Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and training opportunities.
- Communication and Time Management: Possess excellent communication and time management skills to efficiently coordinate tasks and interactions with patients, carers, and fellow health professionals.
- Line Management and Training: Contribute to student training and the development of other team members.
- Flexibility: Be able to travel efficiently to fulfill job requirements. The role may involve travel across the three boroughs - Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering.

Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to meet the executive team and senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary. (minimum payment of £4,714 to a maximum of £5,941 - Per annum, pro rata for part time.)
