Community Paediatric Care Assistant – West London

Pay:£13.97 to £19.99 per hour
Shifts:part-time and full-time hours available, 7 days a week

We are looking for an exceptional Community Care Assistant to join the Newcross team and be part of a supportive and rewarding environment where your contributions truly matter.

Your Role: Supporting Independence, Enriching Lives

As aCommunity Paediatric Care Assistant, you will provide life-enhancing, person-centred care to people in West London. Your compassion and dedication will help people live safely, with dignity and independence in their own homes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Personal care and support:Assisting with daily routines to promote comfort and wellbeing
  • Companionship:Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face
  • Promoting independence:Encouraging clients to live fulfilled lives with autonomy
  • Medication support:Safe, timely administration of medication
  • Specialist clinical care:Supporting clients with complex needs confidently and competently
  • Palliative and end-of-life care:Providing compassionate care during life’s most sensitive moments

What we’re looking for:

  • At least6 months of paid professional care experience(or personal care experience in the UK)
  • Confidence supporting individuals withlimited mobility
  • Previous experience working within learning disabilities, autism and paediatric care
  • Avalid driving licenceand access to a reliable vehicle
  • Theright to work in the UK
  • Experience withcomplex care(preferred but not essential, full training provided)
  • Ability tounderstand both verbal and written Englishto follow care plans and communicate effectively
  • Qualities: Empathy, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork and the ability to deliver exceptional care
  • Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration (e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC). Not applicable in England.
