Job Description:

An exciting job role has recently become available at We Are With You. They are looking for a new member for Community Outreach Worker.

Benefits of the role:

• High rates of pay
• Ongoing contracts (until minimum March 2025)
• Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Duties/Requirements:

• Providing support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse and/or homelessness.
• Managing referrals into the service, completing triage assessments, and providing appropriate harm reduction advice.
• Developing plans with clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.

Experience:

• Experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist settings, ideally with those experiencing homelessness. ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months.
• UK driving license.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving license
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
