Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for Newcastle upon Tyne to join the local authority team. You will carry out assessments and deliver person-centred interventions to promote independence and improve outcomes in the community.

The role offers a supportive multidisciplinary environment with duties including documentation, collaboration with partner agencies, and adherence to HCPC standards. Salary is up to £30 per hour in a flexible agency-style arrangement.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration is required/mandatory.
• Experience in a local authority or community setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete occupational therapy assessments and reviews.
• Develop and implement person-centred care and support plans.
• Recommend and arrange equipment and adaptations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records.
• Ensure practice complies with relevant legislation and professional standards.
