Job summary

VOCASO is seeking a Community & Operations Executive to run the day-to-day engine of VOCASO: our events, marketing and communications, WhatsApp community and members, while providing executive and PA support to the CEO and COO. You will join a small, entrepreneurial team as we launch our new AI-enabled community platform, grow our paid membership and deliver a busy events calendar.

You will plan end-to-end events, manage venues, run email campaigns, create LinkedIn content, moderate the WhatsApp

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a similar mixed role across events, marketing, community, membership, or executive assistant work.
• Excellent written English with an eye for tone and detail.
• Confident and polished with senior executives, board members and partners.
• Highly organised, able to juggle priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a membership organisation, professional network or executive search firm.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver events end to end, including networking drinks, insight sessions, webinars and member dinners.
• Source and negotiate venues in London and new cities, and manage relationships with partners.
• Manage event listings, registrations, speaker liaison and occasional on-the-night delivery.
• Run email campaigns, newsletters and member communications via our CRM and marketing platform.
• Create and schedule LinkedIn content and promote events, membership and the job board.
• Keep website content current and report on campaign and membership metrics.
• Manage and moderate the VOCASO WhatsApp community.
• Own our new community platform day to day, support member migration and adoption, and work with our technical team on testing and feedback.
• Act as first point of contact for member enquiries, onboarding and records.
• Provide executive and PA support: diaries, travel, inbox, meeting briefs and documents.

About VOCASO

VOCASO is a curated community of more than 2,700 senior executives, non-executive directors and board advisors. Founded around five years ago, we are growing into a platform and marketplace for advisory placements, board roles, paid membership, events and a dedicated job board. Our members meet through a regular programme of events both in -person and online. Currently just in London, we are expanding nationally, starting with Manchester in November 2026, with a US launch planned for 2027. www.vocaso.com.

The role

• Technically curious, quick to learn new software and able to explain requirements clearly to developers
• Discretion with confidential information
• Experience in a membership organisation, professional network or executive search firm
• Proven experience organising professional events
• Hands-on experience with Brevo, Luma, Wix or WhatsApp Communities
• Basic design skills (Canva or similar) and LinkedIn content creation
• Comfortable using AI tools to work faster
