BCP Council in Bournemouth is seeking an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team. You will conduct holistic community assessments, plan equipment and adaptations, and coordinate moving and handling to support independence for adults with long-term conditions or disabilities.

You will manage a caseload under supervision, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and help meet statutory duties while improving wellbeing for individuals and carers.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage a caseload.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical reasoning and risk identification.
• Desirable background in social care/community settings; transferable skills welcomed.

Responsabilités

• Provide holistic community assessments for adults with long-term conditions and disabilities.
• Discharge statutory duties and contribute to service objectives under supervision.
• Manage a caseload as lead professional where appropriate.
• Participate in multi‑disciplinary/locality teams and conferences as directed.
