Job description

We are very excited to offer a full-time Band 6 Occupational Therapist position within our well-established multi-disciplinary recovery team based in Cirencester.

The Cirencester Recovery Team works within the principles of recovery and social inclusion to provide assessment and evidence-based interventions for adults experiencing serious and enduring mental health difficulties. We are seeking a motivated, conscientious, and reliable individual with experience working in a community setting, a driver’s license, and the ability to coordinate caseloads within the CPA policy. Basic IT skills are required, and flexible working arrangements are available.

Applicants should have a good understanding of and a high level of commitment to the recovery process and social inclusion. You will be supported in your continuous professional development, with supervision in place to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

The successful candidate will hold a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy, registration with the Health and Care Professions Council, and be able to manage a caseload, travel independently, and demonstrate IT proficiency. AMPS training is preferable, and previous experience working in a community setting is required.

Supervision and ongoing professional development are integral to this role.

The qualification, training, and experience requirements are detailed in the Job Description/Person Specification.
