Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is recruiting a Band 3 Nursing Support Worker to join the District Nursing Team serving the Towy Valley. You will provide compassionate, patient–centred care in a community setting under the supervision of qualified nurses.

The role requires good communication, flexibility to work across sites, and the ability to travel between rural locations. Welsh language ability is desirable; applicants with English or Welsh are welcome.

Qualifications

• Band 3 Nursing Support Worker (Community) role within the District Nursing Team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to develop in the Nursing Support Worker role.
• Flexibility to work within the team under supervision of qualified nurses.
• Willingness to travel between rural sites.
• Welsh language desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standard, cost-effective nursing care under supervision.
• Follow care plans and treatment interventions directed by Team Leader.
• Act as a role model for Student Nurses.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
