Job summary

Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust is seeking a NMC registered Nursing Associate to join our Older People dementia service based in Bury St Edmunds. The role requires autonomous and MDT collaborative work, with travel between Trust sites and driving as essential.

You will work in a supportive team, contributing to assessments, recovery planning and complex care delivery, while engaging with GPs, care partners and MDT colleagues in a dynamic community setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register.
• Care certificate holder.
• Experience in NHS healthcare setting.
• Experience with dementia.
• Ability to work effectively as part of the MDT.
• Willingness to move between Trust sites.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to assessment and support the development and implementation of recovery plans.
• Assist in the delivery of complex care as prescribed by the registered nurse.
• Use Recovery Care Planning with service users and carers.
• Manage your own diary and plan your day.
• Attend MDT meetings and wards.
• Communicate through notes on Lorenzo and letters to Service Users, GPs and other involved parties.
• Driving is essential for this role.
