Qualifications

• The Nursing Assistant in a community setting provides personal care and supports patients in their own homes, under supervision from registered nurses.
• Excellent communication with patients, relatives and colleagues is essential.
• Ability to work with GP practices and community teams to deliver care.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and clinical interventions as delegated by registered nurses.
• Support housebound and care home patients with nursing care and diagnostic tests.
• Order and rotate stock to support the team and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain safety and decontamination of equipment between uses.
