NHS Scotland is seeking a Community Nursing Assistant to join the Children’s Community Nursing Team based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine. This permanent post is 24 hours across 3 days (Monday to Friday) with shifts 08:00–22:00.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, family-centred care for infants, children and young people across hospital, school, and community settings in Ayrshire & Arran, developing your skills and experience in diverse clinical needs.

24 hours over 3 days Monday Friday between the hours of 0800-2200. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will support the care needs of infants, children and young people with a variety of clinical needs including complex and developmental needs. You will deliver high-quality family centred care and provide support in a variety of settings including clinics in the acute hospital, child development centre, schools, early years facilities and family homes as well as health premises throughout Ayrshire & Arran. There will be an opportunity to work with all our community based teams to expand your experience and skills.
