Job summary

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse for a 37.5 hour post in the Placed Based Team 4, based at Bedworth Health Centre. The role requires driving to visit housebound patients and delivering care across the Rural North area.

The successful candidate will have current nursing registration, a valid UK driving licence and be prepared to work across seven days with flexible hours, in a forward-thinking community nursing team.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to travel across Rural North area.
• Experience in Community Nursing is preferred.
• Knowledge of current best practices in Community Nursing.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic, forward thinking Community Nursing Team.

Our aim is to provide a high standard of evidence based care to housebound patients within their own homes and to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.

The successful candidate will have a have a general knowledge of current best practice in Community Nursing.

The Service operates seven days a week and flexible working is required.

The requirements are that you should hold a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel across the Rural North area. A mileage allowance is available.

The community staff nurse is a member of the Integrated Health Team, who undertakes professional duties in the client's homes and clinics to ensure provision of high standard nursing care and health promotion.
