Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with their Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
  • Provide nursing care including PD, IV medication, and monitoring.
  • Setup and maintain patient automated PD machines.
  • Visit patients for connection and disconnection from PD.
  • Monitor observations such as blood pressure and weight.

Skills

Are you a dedicated Community Nurse in Ipswich looking to make a difference in community healthcare? You will be working 5 days a week, starting at either 7am or 1pm, no nights and working weekends on rotation. Enjoy 31 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, and an additional day off for your birthday, private pension, car scheme and extra bonuses.
Our client is a dynamic healthcare company focused on delivering exceptional services in both home and clinical settings. You will be caring for renal and dialysis patients in their own homes in the Ipswich area.
As a Community Nurse, you will:

  • Assisting Patients with their Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
  • Provide safe nursing care, including Peritoneal Dialysis, IV medication administration, and more.
  • Setting up patients automated PD machines.
  • Visiting patients to connect and disconnect them from their PD.
  • Monitoring of observations such as blood pressure and weight to ensure patient receives correct regime.
  • Providing peritoneal catheter site care and dressing changes.
  • Keeping the environment tidy and safe, stock replenishment, waste removal.
  • Contacting referring PD units where their intervention or advice is required.
  • Supporting both Adult & Paediatric patients in their own homes.
