An established healthcare provider is seeking dedicated Community Nurses to join their team in Thanet. In this rewarding role, you will support housebound patients, enabling them to maintain independence and manage their long-term health conditions. You will deliver essential care services, including wound management, palliative care, and medication administration, ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time. This organization is committed to high standards of patient care and values diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. If you are passionate about making a difference in people's lives and want to work flexibly, this opportunity is perfect for you.
As Community Nurses, we support the nursing needs of housebound patients living in and around the areas of Thanet. We enable and empower patients to self-care where possible so that they can stay safe and well at home or in their chosen environment. We provide valuable care, supporting people to manage their long-term conditions and maximize their independence, which in turn can prevent admission into hospital or enable a quicker discharge if they are admitted.
As a service, we may provide wound management, palliative and end-of-life care, symptom control, and catheter care. We also take blood and administer injectable medication. Our aim is to ensure that our patients have access to the care that they need, at the time they need it.
Additional Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week (any shifts 08:00 - 18:00)
Rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC, we have a passion for delivering high standards of patient care and excellent services to improve the health of our communities. To do this, we need outstanding people who share our values: compassionate, aspirational, responsive, and excellent.

As a flexible working-friendly organization, we want you to be able to work in a way that is best for us, for our patients, and for you. Talk to us about a flexible working arrangement that won’t involve sacrificing time for personal interests or family commitments. We’ll support you to work flexibly in a way that suits us both.
