We are seeking Community Nurses to join our Cambridge North City and Villages Nursing Team. You will receive full support to develop new skills and gain experience needed to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes or residential settings.

As a community nurse, we will help you enhance your knowledge and skills in wound care, palliative care, and long-term conditions. We support you to become an expert in assessment and care planning to provide compassionate, high-quality care.

Important Note

For this role, you must be able to travel independently around the county within strict time deadlines. You need to hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle. Public transport is not suitable for this role due to reliability issues and the need to meet service demands. Please confirm in your application that you meet these criteria.

We Are Looking For People Who
  • Have experience working in the community.
  • Are educated to RGN level.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality care and service provision.
  • Can work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • Have the ability to assess and formulate care plans.
  • Can teach and support student nurses and care workers within your team.
  • Possess enhanced communication and interpersonal skills.
You Will Be Responsible For
  • Keeping the patient at the center of care, ensuring patient and carer participation in decision-making.
  • Providing a high standard of care and nursing interventions within a patient's home, with access to specialists when needed.
