Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Hull. You will be an NMC/HCPC registered professional (Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist) conducting PIP assessments and producing detailed reports.

The role offers hybrid working with home and assessment centre sites, predictable hours, ongoing training and a clear progression path, plus a competitive salary and bonuses. Right to work in the UK applies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Salary: £39,500 - £41,000 per annum + OTE up to £47,150

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Are you an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a change from frontline clinical work, but keen to continue using your expertise?

As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non‑hands‑on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The hybrid working model combines home working with time at one of our assessment centres, offering predictable hours, long‑term stability and a healthier work‑life balance.

What you'll do
