Community Nurse – Nottingham (NHS, Contract Role)

Evenings & Overnight | £21.50–£25.00 Ltd (Umbrella) per hour

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Community Nurse to join a dedicated NHS team in Nottingham. This full-time contract role runs Monday to Friday, 5 PM – 8 AM, supporting patients in their homes and local clinics.

Role Summary: As a Community Nurse, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients outside of the hospital setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to individuals and families across the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert wound and medication management in the community
2. Deliver catheter care and support for patients with chronic conditions
3. Offer compassionate palliative and end-of-life care
4. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-focused care
5. Assess, plan, and evaluate care tailored to individual patient needs

Requirements:

1. Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin
2. Proven experience in community nursing (essential)
3. Strong clinical expertise in wound care, catheter care, and palliative support
4. Able to work independently and manage a diverse caseload
5. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
