Job overview

This is an opportunity as a Paediatric Nurse in Children Outpatients, to be responsible and accountable for the provision of high quality care to all patients who attend the department.

This fixed term contract for one year will encompass flexible working within the outpatient department, including across sites where required.

The post holder will set high standards of clinical practice, manage operational issues daily, and collaborate with the wider patient services and clinical team.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care in the paediatric outpatient setting.

Person specification

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse Children with evidence of regular updating.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Appropriate qualifications / relevant specialist courses.

Experience:

  • Over 6 months qualified registered children's nurse.

Additional information:

  • Must be I.T literate.
  • Previous experience in an outpatient setting is desirable.
