Join Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 6 Community Midwife to provide high-quality antenatal and postnatal care to a named caseload within the community. You will work with the community midwifery team across Birmingham, ensuring woman-centred, evidence-based care.

Flexibility is available with shifts 9.00 - 17.00 and across Monday to Sunday; 37.5 hours per week; fixed-term maternity leave cover for 12 months.

Formación

• Registered Midwife with NMC registration.
• Experience in community midwifery or antenatal/postnatal care preferred.
• Ability to work within Trust guidelines and policies.

Responsabilidades

• Observe the NMC Code of Conduct and uphold professional standards.
• Provide midwifery care for a named caseload throughout pregnancy and postnatal period.
• Deliver total care in liaison with team members and other professionals.
• Develop and maintain clinical skills and participate in mandatory training.
• Support development of midwifery practice and new roles within the service.
